Who hasn’t had a need to save documents to preserve formatting or prevent changes being made? Perhaps you’re not sure what software a prospective client is using. Sending your documents as a pdf looks both smart and professional.
I’ve tried a couple programs out there, but have settled on pdf995 found at http://pdf995.com. It’s a quick download and then anytime you need a pdf, do a file>print from your application and choose the pdf995 icon. It will zap it into a pdf file and you can even e-mail it at the same time. Check out their web page for more of their features. There is also an upgrade paid version available.
